Even the most novice cook can find a trusty guide in this book. This is a large beautiful book that's practical and yields fantastic results. Inexpensive or hard-to-find ingredients and tools aren't needed. This cookbook is easy to follow.
As usual, america's test kitchen delivers an excellent cookbook. The atk cookbooks are great for both beginning and seasoned cooks to use.
It exceeds expectations with its simple, tasty, nutritious recipes and gorgeous photos. It has wonderful photography, and many possibilities.

No pressure cooker or sous vide machine youre not sure youll use all that much

The negatives are some of the recipes are super basic in that if youre even slightly familiar with braising and most who cook are whether they call it that or not youve already got a better for instance pot roast recipe than this one which is pretty bland
