I am reading halfway thru this book and learned a lot from it already especially the explanations about probability lottery and error correcting codes

Most importantly the biggest warning i could give regarding this book is… you should not purchase it unless you plan to dig your heels into the dirt and really put forth the time it takes to understand all the topics

It turns out if you understand even the broad outlines of the mathematics you are in a much better position to analyze the claim or make the bet even if you do not or cannot actually do the mathematics involved
