I was impressed this easy fits my laptop and my and i would say could probably fit an 18 laptop as well although that might have some overhang beyond the left hand side but the laptop feet should at least securely fit within the boards edges

The integrated mouse pad is probably the only room for improvement if using a mouse on a excellent quality gaming mousepad was a 10 and using the mouse on a concrete floor was a 1 this mousepad would probably be a 7

However the opening is narrow so if you have a case on your phone or tablet you will probably have to remove it because it is narrow my s7 with a lifeproof case does not fit unless i remove its case

Absolutely perfect for my asus rog strix which itself is a bottom fed cooling system so required an adequate ventilation system

The hole to allow charging devices is slightly too small for the charging cables i current use
