When you get ready to put screws into the holes the hole is too small by design to keep the screw from loosening

So lay all the pieces out and run your screw in all the way before putting it together

Also if you’re going to use a manual screw driver make sure it’s big enough to fit tightly into the head of the screw or you will immediately strip the screw head out and then you will have to go buy screws
