Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a professional shoe stretcher one would find in a cobbler shop…if they even exist anymore. Sturdily built & solid.
After several days of stretching, and adding the bunion * in the 6 spots at the front/toe area - they actually fit and feel great. My wife is retired and rarely wears her nicer shoes.
Cons
It looks like the thread on the screw is worn out. Not sure if its robust. I wound up driving it to a shoe repair professional who removed the device and suggested i return the device.
For my size 9 slips ons it's impossible to get the rear wooden part into the back of the heel. Would not work independently width and length wise.
Highlights
Quality
Product works well to widen toe box and lengthen shoes
Love the quality strength even the box it came in i use to store it

Price
The price is worth it saved a pair of shoes i wouldve otherwise had to give away due to being too narrow
I finally pulled the trigger when i saw the price had been reduced for prime day
I actually already own a stretcher so my hesitation was due to that and because of the price
Packaging/appearance
I opened the box and was immediately impressed by the packaging a first for me and the product itself
Packaging was well done item had no broken cracked areas
Competitiveness
More expensive than other products but i think this one will last

After reviewing the available shoe stretchers i concluded that you can waste your money on a plastic piece of junk that will break the second time you use it or buy the very sturdy hardwood steel houndsbay unit for a lifetime of service
