I wasnt sure about the bubble shape of the wand at first but it was great for my hair kept it from sliding off and kind of locked the curl in place

It has adjustable heat i tend to use the higher heat but not all the way hottest

Now i watched plenty of video tutorials on this bubble wand and depending on your hair type and the look you are going for you are either going to want to wrap your hair around the bubbles only the indents only or the bubbles and the indents at the same time

I wrap my bralength hair around both the bubbles and the indents

The trick is to keep each section you are wrapping flat against the wand instead of just twisting it around the wand

As you are wrapping you sort of let the hair slip between two fingers as you wrapping it around the wand

To do that you have to make sure not to use a section that is too wide vertically on your head
