Pros
The ionizer tames the frizzy, damaged hair types. It dries very fast and accurately. The hot setting is really hot and i use it just at the beginning of drying my hair and then switch it to lesser heat.
Cons
Looks extremely cheaply made, which for the price it pretty much is. I think it might have just been a lemon, because i know sometimes there's just going to be defective items in a group.
The nozzle flies off about 3-4 times while i'm drying my hair. Also the back removable lint filter falls off and the concentrator attachment also comes off easily.
Look elsewhere or expect a limited product lifespan. It does have a 1 year warranty from helen of troy, however i will have to pay shipping (if you live outside of california you also have to include $10 to cover postage, handling, and insurance) and ... Read More

Ion hairdryers are not great for people with fine thin hair

Yes ion dryers make your hair like cornsilk but it also leaves it with no body or fullness

One thing that stinks though is that the concentrator piece on the end of the hairdryer comes off every now and then and it can become very annoying

I get ready in a carpeted area so its not a huge issue for me but if youre blow drying on hard wood or tile i wouldnt recommend this dryer because youll spend more time hunting down the nozzle than actually drying your hair
