These machines are a bit of a niche market and theres not much info to determine what is suitable after comparing various machines we decided on the rbay model for its hot and cold cutting capabilities the 440 watt rating was a bit higher than similar machines and with a need to seal the cuts of nylon we figured this to be best

I had asked prior to purchasing question asked on youtube video page what thickness it could cut and was told up to 3mm 2mm is more like it though woven cotton is a tough material because of the hundreds of threads that is it woven from so possible other 2mm materials might cut ok respect a 2mm thickness and youre probably fine
