Pros

D batteries are a little pricey now so this is a good option. Small enough to fit in some cabinets. Hose is 24. Inches long. Pump is battery powered, so that is even more of a plus.

This new pump works just fine but is noticeably lighter and feels much cheaper. It's well worth the money and easier than dropping the pan down.

Cons

Siphon pump has no suction. The hose is very rigid and came kinked/creased on both ends.

The instructions say to rinse with water after using gasoline, but even if you do, gasoline dissolves the internal (non replaceable) seals. Once or twice about 3 mls. I hope they can tweak it to get a quality unit.

Second is the packaging was very good and the variety of things included are much more than i expected

The only gripe is the way it’s packaged makes the hose hard to get straightened out
