Pros & Cons
Pros
The perfect canned food for a preppers pantry. Due to the pandemic, health restrictions, etc.
Remove from microwave, douse them with hot sauce and enjoy. Open the can, nuke them or put in a pan, and bring up to temperature. They are not too spicy; just right for me.
Homemade tamales are still a rarity in putnam county ny. Hormel tamales with their sauce over the rice. Sprinkle with with shredded mexican cheese or cheddar.
Cons
Out of 24 cans 22 were damaged. Had to purchase a hand held can opener to open the cans. This suggests that the cans were dented during packing at the plant. I don't recall an author using this product as a prop during looting or hoarding.
Tasted mushy, bland, not enough meat and hated the sauce. Bland and not very good at all. Still mushy,.
These tamales are mushy and salty but otherwise flavorless.
