Pros

Simply pulling the bore snake through the barrel a few times removes harsh gun powder residue. Very easy to use and really cleans the barrel. No more bore brushes, solvent and mess.

Brass brush piece really cleans the carbon and fouling nicely. It isolates the contaminants from the rest of my gear when i'm traveling.

The original boresnake with den from hoppe's is a high quality product and i like having the den to store the hard bristles in. Works perfectly for my 380. Fits excellent through my ruger lcr.

Comes with a den for storage. Looks good hanging from my cork board. And it comes in a plastic holder now, niiiiice.

Cons

Not real impressed with the craftsmanship. Received a plain snake without the den at the end. I like many other ordered the new one with the furry stuff on it but did not get it.
