Pros
Easy to make and easy to customize. Easy to build and sturdy. Kids/husband are all 300+ pounds now, finally hears the first crack on the plastic.
Cut them to 4 feet, and used 2x4 lumber, and cut smaller pieces for underneath and used decking screws. Found 2x 4s at lowe’s pre-cut to 4’ - bought 5 and cut the 6” off one.
Bought this to go with my 2x4 basic benches. You can conviently build it to any length that you need.
Cons
It seems as though the suns uv rays has caused the plastic to become brittle. A 6 month life expectancy is very disappointing!
The picnic table this is replacing is the standard 5 boards with the metal frame, but after around 20 years the frame has become weak and you can no longer sit on it. The 2 deck screws i received with the other two benches are just the standard ugly2 ... Read More

They will last outside in the winter and rain provided the quality of the wood is high and it’s been stained or water sealed
Could be cheaper and instructions could be better but you will be happy with the results
Second i messed up with the benches

Saw this on amazon and thought the price was right so ill buy one and see how it goes

Highly recommend if you are a diyer and can get the lumber from a local big box store
I just added some 2x4s crosswise underneath for better support and to make it a bit taller
Great product but here in california 2x4s arent actually 2x4 they are 1 12 x 3 12

Let the top hang over about 4 inches on both ends and the bottom support can either be flush or stick out a little your choice
