Pros

The brackets take the figuring, measuring, lay-out, and most of the cutting out of the equation. Once it is * together it is very sturdy. One use your own hardware.

Cons

Awful, awful, awful. Do not waste your money on this product. It is very flimsy and provides almost no support.

The most unfortunate thing about this rack is that for the 8 feet span, my horizontal 2x4s are sagging. The connection to the plastic is really weak and sags horribly. The bases are made of soft, flimsy plastic.

One of the brackets cracked when installing the screw. The brackets are plastic and not really strong enough to support 30-inches of firewood.

Quality

I used 8foot 4x4s for the bottom rails per other reviewers and im happy with the strength

Excellent product for the cost but with two caveats

I dont like how the top risers share the same slots with the tops of the bottom risers

However im glad i purchased and im very pleased with the final product as built

Packaging/appearance

I also added some scrap plywood on top of the 2x4s to creat the shelves instead of the third 2x4 they have in the instructions

We just needed help organizing wood were given and mor on the waythanks

For extra support i used two 2x4s in the middle instead on one like the directions called for
