Pros
The 2 minutes it take to put on is worth the time then spending time scrapping. No scraping or defrosting windshields needed. Saves me scraping but not high enough to completely cover windshield. If placed correctly it works like a charm.
It works against frost, too. Was able to use it in a minnesota winter ice/snow storm shortly after receiving it. I highly recommend it for anyone in cold weather country who doesn't have a garage.

Cons
The screen is about 2 to 3 inches too short from top to bottom to fit windshield of my subcompact car. It's flimsy and takes a while to put in place, as other reviewers have noted. Actually froze to the windowshield.
The cover is a cheap piece of *. Do not recommend.

Ive had this item for over 3 years now and so far i have never had a frozen window its work fabulous at first when i opened it up i was like okay this thin piece of s i supposed to keep my car from freezing over and i didnt believe it

And then i woke up the next morning and it was literally 20 degrees and my car i took it off to see if the test worked and it did that was normal it was i could drive right away so looks are deceiving with this product i went to my local fred meyer and picked it up so sometimes over the internet not so good but local provider carries it for 9

How i wish this existed years earlier because i would have saved so much time avoided aggravation and frozen fingers while trying to remove ice from a windshield in the morning before heading off to work
