I have only used it for a couple of days but so far i am very pleased with the hoover linx
No problem with the battery or charging it
Works fine on carpet and lino for light dirt and such using every day very handy overall pleased with the vacume
Price
The price is great and this machine will service you for years to come
Emplying is a little less convenient than the dyson but for the price ill take a little more effort emptying
Packaging/appearance
Was shocked to see how much it removed
Competitiveness
Easier to clean the bucket and filters than a tineco i ordered first
Hoover linx signature 18v lithium cordless stick vacuum bh50020 is fairly cheap but works extremely well
Works better than the overpriced dysons for sure

Lets be very honest here the suction power for this is weaker than dyson which i owned and its battery died and the operating time is not as long

That is the only problem we have found with this vacuum hair gets caught in the roller and has to be cut out as it gets pretty tangled around
