Pros

Rainproof/waterproof and will float and continue to alarm in rising water. Thank you resideo for making a dependable product.

One unit in the overflow tray of my water heater. One under every sink, under each toilet and by the hot water heater.

Cons

They emit an ear-splitting alarm when wet all the way through submersion. Tested voltage before closing alarm. If it touches water, you get the alarm. Put under the kitchen sink, 1) beep cannot be heard when the cabinet door is shut.

This product is *not* manufactured by honeywell, a reputable and high-quality brand based in usa. This thing is absolute junk. Don’t waste your time. Just more junk.
