The hoses that come with both models are comparable in size and length the window adapters are comparable tooboth are pretty flimsy and poorly fitting in my old houses horizontally sliding windows

I dont like leaving them installed all of the time even on a secondstory window because they allow air and noise in around the sides

You can also point the airflow left or righthelpful when you have to put the unit in an awkward position

He says the only problem was getting the hose to stay in the rectangular piece that holds the hose in the window and is a small piece that works with the large window part

Previously had problems with it not sensing the temperature in the room but that was caused by a dirty filter

If it was adjustable some how instead of the 3 pcs maybe we could get it to go all the way to the top

It is portable and appears to be well made but not very effective cooling for a well insulated 8 x 10 shed in arizona summer heat
