This air conditioner is very quiet. It is quieter than our old amana portable unit. It cools the room very well, the noise is not tolerable to me though.

The oscillating flap starts working fine, then after 15 minutes or so, it gets wonky. It pretty much makes oscillation mode useless.

Its a bit loud and makes plastic rattling sounds when ac is on had to raise the heavy unit onto a side table so it could reach the window to fit both hoses in a vertical opening window

Be aware as of last year or might’ve been the year before that they changed how many square feet a btu will cover and used to go by the american standard which with a 14500 btu air conditioner it was ready to call about 1300 ft

Now they’ve changed to the british standard which lowers the square feet they can cover it says 800 ft

If i turn on the one in my bedroom and leave the door open and i have a barn door slide it open and i turn on the other air conditioner at the far side of the house which is 40 feet away between the two the whole house gets down to about 70° and we have to turn the fans down because we’re all freezing lol
