Pros & Cons
Pros
My only complaint is that it needs a remote and the controls are on top. The timers work perfect and are reliable. I need it to turn off at night, and turn on in the morning with a clock function like my thermostat.
The filters are easy to replace and it will nag you if you forget. Delivered double boxed so no issues with condition. Just a word to the wise that there may be a drawback to the amazon deals.
Not really that noisy/loud at all with the 3 levels. The turbo mode is awesome for a quick smell finish fix and the low mode is really good for watching movies. White noise btw.
Cons
Hpa 100 model has an annoying motor noise. In turbo mode it makes a huge amount of noise and pieces of plastic started coming out. It is too noisy to use when i'm in the room, so now i have a filter which only can run 50% of the time. Changing levels ... Read More
Honeywell honeywell filter is a waste of money. It is past the return deadline and honeywell has no replacement for. Its not. Literally wasted more than $200 on this product. Don't waste your money on this filter.

Highlights
Quality
I had started sneezing uncontrollably and suffered with the usual stuffy nose and tight chest
Each machine had a hum when initially turned on but the hums have disappeared dissipated with the wind
The upgraded unit with the auto feature is also worthless
Supposedly the prefilters need changing every 90 days while the hepa filters last a year
Price
Been wanting one of these for years but the price was always high
Simple to use good price reasonable filters
The 3 layer newer ones are about 2x the price however
Shipping
I received my first one damaged in shipping
Packaging/appearance
Much better though and did not expect purifier to capture all the old odors
Much better though and did not expect purifier to capture all the old odors
Competitiveness
Great total cost of ownership value use hpa300 6pack filters
The honeywell hpa300 hepa air purifier is an essential addition to any home
Not a homeopathic method not a drug
We already have honeywell units on our two hvac units and we use merv13 filters in our air returns
