    I tried without and no luck, also there is a tamper magnet in the cover it will throw a tamper code if it’s not installed, mine the magnet itself was in the assessors kit and not attached to the cover it took me a few mins to realize the magnet wasn’t installed at the factory.

    It's hard to tell that this is even a wireless setup consider the notifications when faults occur are almost instantaneous.

    On a side note, you'll need a backup battery in order for the module to not throw a low battery warning every time a zone is tripped.

    I used alarmgrid and for $15/mo, i'm able to use my phone to arm/disarm my home, control all my zwave devices (through the lynx 7000) and receive text messages, notifications and/or emails whenever a zone is tripped or an event occurs.
