One interesting thing i used to know when it was getting to be time to go inside when i was working in the driveway when i heard the loud grating buzz and hum of the old metalhalide firing off when it was dusk

The new led fixture there is no noise no hum no buzz just a light gtclicklt of the relay closing and then there is bright white light

First time i turned it on at night it flashed on and off at about 1 hertz

I realized the light sensor was picking up reflected light from the roof above the security light and going back and forth between day and night mode
