Fits a 12 inch pizza easily but i could have definitely lived with the 12 inch instead
I bought the 16 basswood with the shorter handle since i just have a regular size home oven and not a commercial pizza oven

I make my pizza on the peel and with a layer of corn meal underneath the pizza slid right off onto the stone
Competitiveness
15 to 19 dollars would be a better price for this item in my opinion

Do not attempt to wash this peel with water as it will cause the peel to warp into a beautiful and completely useless arch
