    In my opinion the pin is very sanitary food can’t get into the small crevasses like it would for a wooden rolling pin

    It does not allow any cross contamination as compared to wooden or plastic rolling pins

    It does not break scratch and the most important thing is its non stick surface which does not allow it to stick to the surface of the dough

    I always had issues with my old wooden rolling pin as it would get the dough stuck to it which was just such a pain to get it off and as it got used more it would get cracks and stains etc

    It’s basically a thin steel pipe with the edges rolled
