These cable ties are really handy to have especially with me having a lot of cables around my home(tv, game console, chargers, etc). The larger 8'' ties are for use for thicker cords such as heavy duty power cables or office networking.

The hook material isnt that newer non scrathey material but is old school reliable material thats totally reliable

If you will be consistently adding or subtracting wires like once a week a single tie will last about 6 months until the velcro runs thin if you rarely mess with the ties they last more than 2 years

Id been using rubber bands to hold together all my cords and about every three months id have to replace the bands

I usually do not get the velcro ties as that i do a lot of organizing inside and outside of my home

The velcro ties never do seem to work out so well for items that i need cable ties for that is on the outside as that i am needing something that would be water resistant
