I started by turning off the hot and cold water feeds and disassembled the existing faucet

Make sure you use the washer that comes with it it needs to go inside the female piece on the faucet

Before turning the faucet on i turned the water feeds back on and checked for leaks tightening any connections which leaked

If you did not tighten the sprayer enough it will leak as soon as you turn it on
