Pros & Cons
Pros
The first one was abused by racoons and squirrels, and eventually had to be retired. This is a well-built double sided suet feeder that the raccoons have not carried away yet.
They are sturdy and thick. Don't hesitate to order. It’s very sturdy & nicely built.
This feeder is sooo nice! I make my own suet, which they love, but my old feeder was wearing out. This fits the bill.
This suet feeder holds two cakes of suet. It has plenty of space for the birds to perch. This is the 3rd one i have 2 for my backyard and 1 for my sister.
Easy to fill with suet blocks. Simple lift of cover gives space to load 4 x 4 suet block.
Cons
The roof is canted to one side, then flops back and forth in the wind. Roof is not secure. It tips and dumps the birds off.

So unless you are going to fill this one with two cakes birds will only be able to feed off one side at a time

The only issue i see at this point the suet cake container itself has no top mesh to potentially keeping the squirrels from pulling the cake out of the feeder
