Youd think for an oem part it would work with the existing parts but after learning how to remove the old part it works perfect

On my model the starter cup is not replaceable so i cant try the replacement for that part

Did not work out of the box but as suggested by others i used 2 small washers for a fix

Put 2 washers on each corner between the housing and the starter

That will jam the piston and allow you to unscrew the old pawl the new recoil assembly wouldnt fit over my old pawl so i had to use the new one included

I thought this would have been more difficult to install but if you read some of the reviews they will describe the installation
