Pros

App is easy to set up and use and definitely slanted to the easy side rather than the comprehensive side. There were no issues loading the app, connecting the base to my home wifi, pairing to the alarm, or adding sensors.

Home security system provides peace of mind in a city with a high rate of burglary and crime. The barn was recently broken into and everything of value was taken. Many times the police are at my home before i am. Also purchased a siren.

Guessing that a lot of these purchases are event driven and mine certainly is. The tech support rapid and patient. They use technology from the last century but for the price of today!

Installing any of the sensors is as easy as removing a paper battery tab. Use the keypad to tell the basestation that you are installing a new device. The motion sensors are very sensitive to the cold.

It has a monthly fee, which compared to another system, is outrageous. Our neighbors pay a yearly fee which is equal to 2 1/2 months with simplisafe. The whole system feels very cheap and once you get them, you’ll understand how outrageous the pricing... Read More

What really irritated me is the recent revelation that simplisafe took some sjw's word and stopped advertising on the dan bongino show. It's been quite disappointing. Very very disappointed. Big mistake. What a scam. What a sham.

We use a different system in our vacation home that is far superior to simplisafe. It seems simpli safe has taken sides and doesn't want me - or any conservatives - as a customer.

The app is bad, the web-based account access is worse. The phone app is just ok, but slow compared to other apps.
