Pros
Water enters the basement via the cove joints (where the floor and wall meet) the water tank fills very fast! Has kept our 780 sq ft basement dry for 2 years. I now have it on a drainage hose and it has kept a very steady safe humidity level.
No more humidity or dampness. Not that noisy, similar to a fan.
Cons
With about 6 months remaining of my 2.
The warranty is 1 year.
Homelab support is slippery and in the end, if the unit worked for a year and dies - they suggest you buy another one (offering a discount) the 800# no longer works and refers you to an email address. I expect that when i do get one, it will be as if ... Read More

We have a couple rooms in our house that have been storing things for almost 10 years and we have not turn the heat on in there in the last couple years or so so a lot of moisture has eventually accumulated in all the clothes and books and furniture and carpet

We started to show mildew on the exterior walls and in the closets which has been a big drag throwing out things or laundering things slowly removing everything from the room possible but what’s left is the furniture and the carpet and the books so i wanted to try a dehumidifier
