Pros

Holstein rosin has good grip and it stopped the extraneous sounds. The tone is much improved with less squeaking and whistling.

Have to carry it in my purse to rehearsals. Other rosins come in a cardboard box, making a clumsy storage.

Cons

The rosin is good quality but it came cracked. Came shattered. Not worth the $15.
