The sensitivity of the touch base may vary depending on how fast you try and cycle thought the light settings

Now if you place your finger on the base for three seconds the light will first turn red then begin to flash between red and blue then it will enter the rgb color mode

It will automatically cycle thought all the different colors if left as is

From here you can turn off the lamp but placing your finger on the base and holing it there until the indication light flashed blue and orange

Once that begins you can release it and the light is not off with the indicator light back to blue

Sometimes the touch sensor doesnt pick up my touch but i tend to have that same issue with other touch products so that might just be me

Each time you touch the lamp it will get brighter and on the fourth touch it will turn off
