Excellent lights and sturdy bulbs. Ordered almost 500 bulbs and had 0 bad ones. Fantastic service. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Added to string of outdoor incandescent c9 lights where some bulbs were burnt out. Each strand, also went from 175 watts,to 14 watts total. Great retrofit for c9 light strings as they are much more durable.

Cons

Right out of the box three were not working. Within hours of plugging them in two more died. Vendor's negligent approach toward selling older, inferior bulbs.

Most of the light output is disbursed through the tip of the bulb. Only about half of it is refracted through the sides by the bulb's faceted surface. Not an exact functional replacement for an incandescent c9 bulb. Unpadded and jumbled together?
