These suction cups are very well made but totally inflexible. They are almost too heavy duty, would love to find them to fit my vermont 612 candles. Builders cheaping out and sacrificing true carpentry, craftsmanship, and esthetic.
These are absolutely useless! Wasn't worth sending back. Returned and was only given a very small refund. Only one remote for all 10 lights.

I was pleased to find that the clamps would slip onto and off of the suction cups after they were installed if desired

Rather than forcing the clamp around the candle a tapered candle can easily be slid into the holder until it becomes tightly held
