Pros & Cons
Pros
A must-have for installing a nest camera under a roof overhang. You need the original magnet that came with the camera. Allows for an additional angle otherwise not possible.
Cons
The mount shows a round mount that appears as if it were a magnetic mount. The threaded shaft coming off the mounting bracket is the wrong size. Did not include magnetic attachment that was supposed to be in package for outdoor nest camera.
Highlights
Quality
Nice sturdy material and it was easy to install
It’s very easy to install adjust and quite sturdy too
The body seems to be a die cast and the range of motion is locked down by a friction thumbscrew
It is sturdy and works as intended
Price
Its not great but it is pretty good for the cost
Packaging/appearance
Works well it mine arrived missing the circular lock nut shown in photo
Competitiveness
I prefer to buy original brand products but this item was not available from nest and it worked well

The only problem that i have with them is that the plastic piece that runs along the threads that you turn to add pressure against the cameras mount after screwing it in so that it doesnt rotate is plastic and it breaks very easily

It breaks well before achieving the level of pressure id want to ensure that the camera is going to remain absolutely stable
