Pros
The only drawback is how sensitive and jumpy setting the dial is using the screw in the back. It takes a moment of screw adjustment and tapping of the unit to get it reading correctly. Fairly easy to calibrate.
Excellent little barometer for the price. It does the job superbly. Beautifully made. Pleased with purchase.
The purpose of this type of barometer is to indicate changes in the barometric pressure. Was schooled as a marine science tech/ meteorologist in the coast guard.
Cons
This barometer reads 30 plus or minus. When the weather service shows a barometric reading of 29. The needle jumps a lot and you need a surgeon's steady hand to adjust the needle to where it needs to be.

That is all 3 are in agreement with each other

When the barometric pressure goes down usually seriously into the 29 inhg span it generally predicts rain
