Pretty sturdy, better than most diy bookcases. Would highly reccomend. Overall a good buy for the $.

Cons

Both the top and bottom of the bookcase are only finished on one side. All the other shelves were marked 2 and were finished on both sides. The veneer is worn and missing pattern. Everything is scratched.

Looks like a piece of cheap garbage.

Walls are thin at 1/2 thickness particle boards; not typical bookcase thickness at 3/4. Lasted 2 weeks. There were chunks missing. None are flush.
