Cons
Both the top and bottom of the bookcase are only finished on one side. Walls are thin at 1/2 thickness particle boards; not typical bookcase thickness at 3/4. Everything is scratched and chipped.
Too much of a hassle to return it and didn't want to wait for a replacement. Am exchanging for a new one.

The bookshelf itself was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough but it was dirty and i had to clean pretty much every piece
