It is light, yet warm. It quilts beautifully. Because it has such a good loft, the quilting shows up very well. Perfect for wall hanging, beading or hand quilted.

It is light weight i couldnt believe how light the quilt was when i quilted it and has a wonderful drape and loft

This wool batting is described as being for use in quilting but i purchased it for some experimental home upholstery projects to see if it was a suitable alternative to the synthetic batting that is often used

I knew from some experience that wool was sometimes used in traditional upholstery along with horsehair and cotton and could be fairly longlasting

Cant say yet if the material is suitable in other areas in terms of whether it stops or contributes to any fiber traveling between layers

So cant review for onlabel quilting use but i would say its worth trying for home upholstery if one is looking for breathable natural fibers and needs a layer that can provide a combination of loft and smoothness

I havent made enough observations to say its definitely ideal for this use but its probably ok if used beneath durable upholstery grade fabric
