Pros

The unit comes from the distributor pre-calibrated. Replacement is a simple process of remove, replace and calibrate. Good way to check the ph levels of your marine aquarium.

The construction is very good. They seem very durable and well constructed. The only weakness i have found in this unit is that it has auto shut off. I would recommend them.

My original is getting close to needing a sensor replacement. The replacement sensor number sp-p2.

Cons

The sensor should never be stored dry and greatly decreases the life of the product. The sponge was dried and decaying leaving parts of the sponge attached to the meter. Now they are out of warranty and read ph as 10.

I will say that there were also pieces of the foam stuck to the electrode which came off after the ph7 soak with a delicate qtip

Do not expect this thing to be spot on accurate out of the package
