The battery life of this device is estimated to last 7 years. The sensor can be replaced at any time.

The unit comes from the distributor pre-calibrated. Replacement is a simple process of remove, replace and calibrate. Calibration is simple.

Based on quality/price, the ph-200 is about the cheapest available. It is inexpensive and very easy to use. The only weakness is that it has auto shut off and likes to turn itself off while i'm in the middle of a reading. And when your unit arrives.

Cons

This instrument is a nightmare to recalibrate. Since they are out of warranty, i have no recourse.

Very overpriced meter since only lasts less than a year. Just taking the cap off will remove the sponge. After buying replacement sensor will not calibrate to anything but 10.
