As you will know after a while pinlock inserts get increasingly difficult to see through over the years and cannot be properly cleaned with soap and water per the instructions

I wear a hjc is max ii been riding 25 plus miles to work at 530 in the morning 25 to 41 degreesgeorgia winter been having to leave my visor cracked to prevent fogging installed the pinlock now i can ride and the shield stays down

If you are looking to keep your motorcycle helmet shield fog free especially in weather south of 35 degrees f the only real choice is the pinlock system
