Not only because it is directly input numbers so easy but also because it has a very loud ascending beeping alarm with flashing red light just as another reviewer described it has a red led at the top right corner that blinks when it goes off and a moderately loud little beep that starts out as beep beep about 10 times then escalates to beep beep beep about 40 times then escalates to a constant fast beep beep beep beep beep etc

Until you turn it off each beep accompanied by a blink of the little red light
