First of all its important to know that the hitachi name is no longer on this product

They removed it so that the hitachi brand wouldnt be associated with sex toys anymore

Despite this so obviously being used as a sex toy distributed by a sex toy company and unbranded specifically to remove that association the instruction manual is still very specific about some things like not using on a wet part of the body and having an illustration for areas that are okay to massage and specifications that it absolutely should not be used outside of the ways outlined in the manual
