Again it felt solid and i backchecked the metabo name change and seems legit

My dad loves this price was great
Drill is refurbished so the price was reduced which was a plus for me
Packaging/appearance
As it happened i had a project that i needed a drill for and i decided to test the metabo out
First ill get the whinging out of the way
I bought this product to use with a 1 inch x 18 inch speedbore from irwin to dig holes into the stump in my back yard
Competitiveness
Only issue is i received a metabo brand

Well the picture has hitachi but like other reviews i received the metabo version instead

The drill is solid and did not have any noticeable issues performance problems or anything i could see visibley wrong

As others have noted this did not come repackaged in a retail box

One odd thing is that instead of being marked foreward and reverse the marking say l and r which seem to refer to clockwise and counterclockwise

In fact its heavier than the craftsman i looked at at lowes last week
