I love history and when i saw the advance copy i thought it would be great to learn more about india but i had never wanted to commit to reading some 1000 page scholarly tome that would take me three months to slog through

I had read about gandhi’s work and alexander the great’s forays into india and that’s part of the problem

The main topic that i would have liked to see covered more is the split between india and pakistan and the effects of the tensions between hindus and muslims
