Pros
The turtle likes the pellets (and so do the goldfish). My painted turtle likes them but she's still a juvenile and these are a little big for her. I have two yellow belly sliders that i have had for about 1 1/2 years since they were hatchlings.

This is the second time i’ve purchased this. Bag lasts a long time. It's what you expect. Always believe in hikari. He loves the stuff.
Cons
Contains garlic which is toxic to turtles and cause life damaging effects. Contains red dye #3 which causes cancer in lab animals. Goldfish don't like this food - it's too crunchy.

Hikari always provides quality foods for goldfish and koi and this is no different
As with many pet foods the higher quality food means less bulk so less waste material

Very buoyant and floats well but it doesnt have a chance to sink nice package with a reclosable seal and a square bottom to prevent spills
Once the water is below 4550f i stop feeding

If you mix 25 wheat germ and then 25 turtle pellet it is supposed to help them shed
