Hiitave minimalist barefoot sock shoes are very comfortable. They feel like you are barefoot, yet they keep out the rocks and sand. The number of drain holes helps them to shed excess water quickly.

My feet are not wide, but i have a morton's neuroma, and tight toe boxes really hurt that. The toe area is wide which is helpful.

The shoes are easy to put on and take off yet feel snug while wearing them. They are secure around the arch and heel, but leave room for your toes to move and grip. The sole is not super rigid so it really does a good job of absorbing impact.

I dunno maybe it's cus i have very narrow heels and very wide toes, a really annoying foot shape to shop for. These shoes are eu sizes and it's likely the shipper doesn't verify eu sizes to us sizing.

With crocs or something similar, you have large drain holes all around the sides which lets sand escape from the shoe. My biggest issue with them is the heel, in the pictures you can see how it sticks out at the bottom. They also have zero grip.
