Pros

Small french press pot is great for a small bit of coffee in the middle of the night. No complaints, paint chips, nothing. Good on a breakfast tray so you can pour hot coffee into a small cup with saucer, and feel like your special.

It's easy to use and clean, looks fantastic and brews a great cup of coffee (according to my guest, and she's a picky coffee drinker). It is easy to clean as well.

This replaces the 2 glass presses i managed to break. What mostly appealed to me about this press is the fact it’s not glass and is therefore much more durable. Tou never have to worry about breaking a glass carafe.

Add grinds & fill press to spout leaving extra 2oz in kettle. Try this method borrowed from beer brewing to get a full 12oz mug.

Cons

Cheaply made and insubstantial. Components of the pricing material seem to be pretty cheap. At least the other brands allow room to maneuver.

After you press your brew, when your ready to pull the plunger out, it comes off the end of the rod. It's difficult to clean the filter because it's hard to unscrew. The threads on the filter / screen assembly were stripped.

The carafe is actually 12 oz but that's not usable brewing room. The lid has a 4mm gap with the inner walls of the kettle, so looses heat from there. Plunger isn't made of same grade ss as carafe. The pot says it’s dishwasher safe and maybe it's reall... Read More

This model is virtually identical to others i have seen of the size and it works well as either a coffee press or a cold milk frother

The vendor advertises it as 34oz but it actually is only 32oz big difference if you need an accurate quantity of cups like me

I make a 12oz 34mug34 and as others have noted the 12oz press yields about 10oz at best
