Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

These are perfect for overlanding/off-road style rigs. Will be mounting an awning to the side and carrying a kayak on top. Who has that type of drill bit just laying around?

For somebody who puts a premium on quality, functionality and value, there is simply no room for improvement on this item. First impression is great.

Mounted on my 1985 land rover 110. I fooled myself, it fits my camper shell perfectly.

No rust or any kind of wear outside. Fine for dry climates without upgrades. The biggest issues i have for concern are the ones where water can get in and there aren't washers.

Cons

The racks rusted very badly very quickly within several months of installation. The inside of the pipes are not rust proof. And lastly, the brackets stick up three or four inches above the bars for no reason at all.

    Reinstall and no jingle jangle

Only other advice is when possible ratchet strap from the bar over your load and back to the same bar instead of ratcheting from bar to bar

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The racks are plenty sturdy but the rain gutter on the car itself seems more resistant to up down forward and back motions and less resistant to the twisting motion caused by ratcheting the bars toward eachother
