Pros & Cons
Pros
Just a smidge weirdly pricy is all. The price is reasonable too. A no frill buy here. A likely replacement.
It spins smoothly and is made very well. Weighted, spins well, it has good weight, it feels sturdy. Spins easily. All visible metal components are magnetic.
It turns nicely and the rubberized base does not slip on the worktable.
The coating seems durable, machining lines remain visible but muted. This is wonderful for glazing, painting and sculpting ceramics.
Cons
The “spender” or post is non existent so it’s difficult to spin. It wobbles and is not smooth at all. Worthless for trying to make straight lines while glazing pieces.

Spindle in base is semi protected will be worth it to 3d print a small cap to fit in the recessed base and extend the protection further up if you plan to use this around large quantities of liquid paint

Initially i bought a plastic turn table with metal bearings but while that could spin it couldn’t reach a suitable spin rpm
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The friction was so great that the spin would stop once force was no longer applied braking within a second or two

I might just be cheap or thrifty but it took me a while to buy one of these because it just doesnt seem like a little manual turning surface should be quite so pricy
